Sunday Programme

As of any religious community, Sundays is a bank holiday for most people and naturally our most popular day in which our congregation and community get involved with volunteering on the day.
You can get involved in practically all the ‘daily services’ on a Sunday and in addition there are some key services as below;

Volunteering Opportunities

Kitchen assistants to help prepare lunch 9.30 – 1.00pm & dinner 3.00 – 6.30pm
Kitchen Pot washers
Kitchen Cleaners – 2.00 – 3.00pm & 6.30 – 7.30pm
Serving lunch Prasadam 1.15 – 3pm
Serving dinner Prasadam 6.00 – 8.30pm
Hospitality area & Tour Guides
Reception duty
Making flower garlands 10am – 12.30pm
Car Park duty – 12.00noon – 2.00pm & 4.30 – 7.30pm
Setting up the Temple barrier for the queue system
Manor Shop & Bakery assistants
Lead singing or accompanying main lead singers in the temple room
Temple cleaning services, corridors, rooms to include emptying bins,
Litter cleaning
Class room setting up
Mailouts to prepare
Goshalla bullock cart rides
General Question & answers area - giving talks
Youth area – Pandava Sena
Children’s Krishna Club – Teacher assistants
