What does this most dynamic and multitasking department get up to? Practically everything one might say. The Bhaktivedanta Manor Foundation (BMF) is the principle fund raising department of Bhaktivedanta Manor. The key objective of the Foundation is to provide a sound financial base for the future of Bhaktivedanta Manor’s projects and activities. During the last 17 years, the BMF has been successful in serving this objective by the utility of The Foundation’s Patron scheme.
There isn’t a single house, industrial estate of businesses or parade of high street shops, covering the wider local area, the team have not yet visited.

Making friends and patrons is often the easier step, though undertaking the mammoth task of maintaining and looking after the Manors inner congregation of over a 4000 people can be compared to painting Scotland’s Fourth Bridge, once the painting of the bridge is completed, repainting immediately begins once more and so on.

Spread over a 50 mile radius, the team visit homes practically every day & night. They are the principal team behind organising the Manors phenomenal Janmastami festival, Diwali and Ramanavani and when they are not out on door to door, shop to shop distributing books, you will often see them humbly mending drains, cleaning the kitchen or leading a large team of volunteers for tree planting around the Manor.
